Recently, JD.COM Supermarket released the List of China's Tea Industry Belt. According to publicly available information, this is also the first list in China to rank the development of tea industry belt by introducing the "e-commerce index".

It is reported that the list gives an all-round appraisal of 26 industrial belts from 11 provinces, covering five major tea varieties: black tea, green tea, black tea, white tea and green tea. According to the list of China's tea industry belts, Yunnan Pu 'er tea, Zhejiang Longjing tea and Fujian Jinjunmei tea have become the top three tea industry belts in China. It is worth noting that among the green tea industry belts, Zhejiang Longjing ranked first, Zhejiang West Lake Longjing and Zhejiang Anji White Tea ranked second and third.

The first tea industry belt list of 26 industrial belts in 1 province was released.

The list comprehensively evaluates 26 industrial belts from 11 provinces, covering 26 industrial belts of major tea varieties such as black tea, green tea and black tea. From the regional point of view, among these 26 industrial belts, Fujian takes the lead with 5 seats, followed by Anhui with 4 seats. According to the type of tea, green tea occupies 9 seats, while black tea occupies 6 seats.

Among these 26 industrial belts, the e-commerce index of Yunnan Pu 'er tea is 565.95 points, ranking among the best. Zhejiang Longjing followed closely with 564.71 points, and Fujian Jinjunmei ranked third with 505.82 points. Fujian Zhengshan race, Guangxi Hengxian jasmine tea, Zhejiang West Lake Longjing tea, Zhejiang Anji white tea, Yunnan Dianhong tea, Anhui Qimen black tea and Jiangsu Biluochun all broke into the top ten.

Among the green tea industry belts, Zhejiang Longjing E-commerce Index ranks first, followed by Zhejiang West Lake Longjing and Zhejiang Anji White Tea, with e-commerce indexes of 564.71 points, 335.08 points and 320.32 points respectively; In the black tea industry belt, Fujian Jinjunmei, Fujian Zhengshan race and Yunnan Dianhong rank in the top three, and the e-commerce index is 505.82 points, 381.25 points and 302.09 points respectively. In addition, Guangdong Lingtou fir ranks in the forefront of green tea industry belt; In addition to Yunnan Pu 'er tea, Hunan Anhua black tea has successfully occupied the forefront of the black tea industry belt; The white tea industry belt was surpassed by Fujian Shoumei.

The industrial development of the belt is uneven, with the top three occupying an absolute advantage.

From the overall situation, these 26 industrial belts show the characteristics of uneven development. The top three e-commerce indexes of Yunnan Pu 'er tea, Zhejiang Longjing tea and Fujian Jinjunmei tea are all above 500 points, and the remaining seven seats in the top ten have e-commerce indexes below 400 points, which is obviously different from the top three.

According to the data, most of the tea industry belts ranked high in the ranking list are promoted through online and offline channels under the initiative of the local government. Therefore, both sales and public brand awareness have certain advantages. Compared with these developed tea industry belts, tea industry belts with low e-commerce index have more or less shortcomings in omni-channel layout, and the overall development is slightly inferior.

There are two main reasons: on the one hand, the low entry threshold of tea industry leads to small scale of enterprises, many manual workshops and low brand concentration; On the other hand, there is a lack of policy norms and guidance.

With the increasing degree of online tea industry, the uneven development will be broken in the future, and the gap between various industrial belts will be narrowed. JD.COM will also give full play to its advantages in digitalization, supply chain, finance and other fields, and provide new assistance for the development of tea industry belt in terms of digital transformation and upgrading, origin traceability and product standardization.

In three years, the compound growth exceeded 100%, and thousands of new Longjing models became the biggest winners.

At the beginning of this year, the "Annual Consumption Report of Food and Beverage Industry" released by JD.COM Supermarket showed that Longjing Tea continued its strong momentum of compound growth of over 100% for three years. According to the JD.COM Tea Business Department, during the spring tea market this year, there were thousands of new products in Longjing category alone.

In "China's Tea Industry Belt Ranking", Longjing tea is the biggest winner by virtue of its single variety and two industrial belts. In addition to the active guidance of local authorities, the development of Longjing Tea Industry Belt is also inseparable from the blessing of e-commerce partners such as JD.COM.

In addition, JD.COM Supermarket also released the Panorama of China's Tea Industry Belt, which introduced in detail 45 spring teas from 15 provinces and cities in China from the dimensions of appearance, soup color, aroma, taste, leaf bottom, time to market and spring tea index.
