Tieguanyin

Tieguanyin (tiě guān yīn) tea, a traditional Chinese tea, belongs to the green tea category and is one of the top ten famous teas in China. Native to Xiping Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, discovered in 1723-1735. "Tieguanyin" is not only the name of the tea, but also the name of the variety of the tea tree. Tieguanyin tea is between green tea and black tea and belongs to the semi-fermented tea category. Fragrant, pure and strong taste, fragrant and lasting aroma, it has the reputation of "seven bubbles with lingering fragrance". In addition to the health care functions of general tea, it also has the functions of anti-aging, anti-arteriosclerosis, prevention and treatment of diabetes, weight loss and fitness, prevention and treatment of dental caries, clearing heat and reducing fire, and anti-smoking and sobering.

Tieguanyin contains high levels of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, tea polyphenols and alkaloids. In the eighth year of the Republic of China, it was introduced from Anxi, Fujian for trial planting. It is divided into two types: "Red Heart Tieguanyin" and "Qingxin Tieguanyin". The main producing area is in the Wenshan period. , the buds are few and the leaves are thick, and the yield is not high, but the quality of the bag tea is high, and the production period is later than Qingxin Oolong.
